Glad you found it, Jon! - and Welcome to the BirdDog 'club'. Isn't this one beautiful and unique aircraft ?
I've found it to be the absolute ideal aircraft for touring the Orbx Pacific North-West. Just installed KORS a couple of days ago, and am shooting circuits on a daily basis, with the odd trip from Concrete to Darrington or Arlington. Retirement is good!

And it gets better with practice.pj_3 wrote:... Retirement is good!

Computer: Black box with a bunch of electrical looking stuff inside. Lots of fans and blue lights and it sits there humming away gently and lets me play games on it.

I'm an old RAF type Ronnie: we always played with our choppers....
Edit: now I'm old enough to be able to take my choppers out!

Re: Surprise!
I've just converted Eddy van Gelder's marvellous N51446 Northwind Aviation float to amphibian. Not quite as easy as I thought it would be (couldn't get rid of the green tyre treads!) The easy option was to swap the floats texture from the USAF model, but it didn't look right.
With Eddy's permission I can host the repaint, along with the other two Northwind variants. For some reason I had a heck of a job finding them in the usual places.
When/if I hear from Eddy you can PM me for a link. (bandwidth etc.)
