Hi. Guys.
Is there a possibility of getting clear glass texture? I Love flying over FTX Global
with all those very green textures. The AN-2 glass washes them out a bit. The
plane otherwise is just great.
With Thanks Anthin

You have to darken the in the alpha layer in the "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SibWings\AN2\Texture\An2_texture.dds" file. if you PM me your email I will send you a cleaner version.

A million thanks sieggie..
Absolutely perfect.Just took a quick flight from Abbotsford BC and was clear as a bell.
Cannot wait to try ANT-2 around the world flight. Could this be made a sticky? I am
sure it would be very welcome for those who like to fly over Orbx scenery.
Once again, thanks for this.
Regards Anthin.

Better yet, If Alex would put it in the Downloads area, it will remain and not disappear if I ever cancel my dropbox account.

strange.. there was no need to overwrite because there wasn't such previous file. I just pasted it in and it worked beautifully!

If you put the file in the an individual repaint texture directory, it will only apply to that repaint. If you put it in the global texture file located in the root FSX directory\SibWings\AN2\Texture\An2_texture.dds then it will apply to all repaints. I am guessing you put it into an individual repaint texture directory which is why you did not have to overwrite a file. This dds is not found in the individual textures but in the global texture for the AN2.

no, I figured it's best to put in the global texture folder so it will apply to all liveries. I still didn't have to overwrite a file because there was no such file before.
what matters is that it works great. I also felt it's a bit "pale" before.

strange indeed then.. my install is pretty mint, never had a problem with it.
BTW
can we get a version of the model without the static floor shadow? It's blending not so great on some sceneries. Great idea otherwise!

Hi siegge.
I have perfect glass on all the AN2's and it did not overwrite because that file did not exist.
Yes I thought it strange when it didn't overwrite and thought this is not going to work,
but it sure did. once again thanks. I put it in the shared texture folder.
Anthin.

see... it's probably your test build fill with test files.
