What does the small key in the cockpit do?

Post by stu7708 » 02 Jul 2013, 12:01

Just curious here..

When looking around the Virtual Cockpit last night I spotted a small white key (looks like a standard door key) hanging on the back wall of the cockpit just behind the Left pilot panel, almost tucked away behind the pilot seat.

When I click it, it disappears. But does it have a function too?? As it happens, the time I did click it I was unable to start the engine until I reset the aircraft but I guess that could have been a coincidence..

As I said before, you've really produced a great plane with the AN-2 and I'm really enjoying to fly it!

Well spotted, I hadn't seen the key.
I did the same but the engine started, so I guess it was a coincidence.

Found it by accident actually...

I'm a new user of TrackIR and twisted my head more than needed when trying to take a look at the switches on the Left Panel... But when I saw it I couldn't resist the urge to try and click on it ;)

Very well spotted indeed.
I love the sense of humour that seems to have infected
this model from the developers.
I wish it were more common among some of the the others, who
sometimes seem to lack one altogether.

I also love the way that this model just does everything right,
no excuses, no fuss, just excellence.

Regards,
Nick

Should have been Stolichnaya.
Computer: Black box with a bunch of electrical looking stuff inside. Lots of fans and blue lights and it sits there humming away gently and lets me play games on it.
