What are these?

Love the An-2! Now I see why it took so long to release it.
Can you explain what these three things are and what they are used for?
1. UGR compass
2. UGK-2 compass
3.Chip detector

Thanks

The UGR and UGK-2 Compasses are normal radio compasses connected to the NDB. I belive UGR and UGK-2 are just their model numbers.

The Chip Detector illuminates if metal particles are detected in the engine oil.

Thanks Dave
Can the engine cowlings be opened as they are on the Birddog?
On the birddog, they are opened using the wingfold command. I tried this on the An-2, but it doesn't do anything.

For the cowling flaps it is the most right switch on the middle console. To make it work you need to have battery on ans cowl electric circuit switch on
Happy flying!

Thank you, what I meant to say is .... can the fairings around the engine be opened to expose the engine?
On the birddog, they can be opened so you can see the engine. This is done with the wingfold command.
The more time I spend with this plane, the better it gets.
