Antonov An-2 FAQ

Post by Alex » 07 Jun 2013, 22:03

Guys in this thread we are going to make a list of frequently asked questions.
Please feel free to comment and suggest any topics which you think might be useful.

Q: FSX crash to desktop when selecting An-2
A: Probably "compatible mode" is on for FSX. Make sure your settings look like this screeh shot

Q: Updater says "FSX detection error: Can't find FSX path!"
A: Seems like path to FSX in your registery is broken. Try to use this repair tool: http://www.flight1software.com/files/FS ... Repair.exe

Please ask your questions regarding An-2 in a separate thread!

I had a hard disk drive crash, I have tried reinstalling my AN2, it is showing up on my planes list but, when I try to activate it will now open up?
I have reinstalled it 2 times with the same results.
How do I fix this?

Thank You,

Chief

Hello!

Try to run FSX\SibWings\An2\bin\init.exe file to activate your copy.

Open Windows File Explorer and navigate to the address given.
Right click on init.exe and select Run as Administrator.
On my PC, this opens a box with my e mail address and the
product activation code in it.
You may see the same or perhaps an option to fill these lines in.
