Bird Dog Shuts down FSX

I had FSX installed on my C: programfiles (x86) and the bird dog was working just fine.

I uninstalled all my of my FSX files and created a new partition B:(FSX) and reinstalled FSX and all my extra programs. The Bird Dog installed properly and is in the aircraft selection menu. However, when I click on the plane, then click "OK" FSX says it has stopped responding and shuts down. All my other planes work expect the sibwings Bird Dog.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hello,

Please check that you have compatible mode is off for FSX. (Properties of FSX link)
Also please try to run FSX as Administrator.

I right clicked on FSX and made sure the compatible mode does not have a checkmark. I then Right click on the FSX icon and run as admin.

FSX loads up fine. I select the bird dog and then click fly now, that's when it tells me FSX is not responding and shuts down to the desktop.

Can you please fully reinstall your BirdDog ?
Delete from Add/Remove programs and then install BirdDog downloaded from here: http://sibwings.com/get/birddog.exe

One more question, Do you have FSX SP2 or Acceleration pack installed ?

yes I have SP2 installed, no acceleration.

I'll uninstall it from the control panel like you said and reinstall it. Will report back.

EDIT:

Ok uninstalled the program via control panel, restarted the PC. Then ran the installer from the link you provided. When I run the installer it tells me:

"The security key for this program currently stored on your system does not appear to be valid for this version of the program. Select Yes to enter a new key, or No to revert to the default setting (if any)."

I have my product code in the email I received along with my order number. Can I enter this product code?

EDIT: Ok, I selected YES and entered the code from my sales/order number email and it tells me "The name/key you entered does not appear to be valid. Please try again".

How do I proceed from here?
