Oh I don't know, I think you're in with a good chance.
Particularly the parked one.

Computer: Black box with a bunch of electrical looking stuff inside. Lots of fans and blue lights and it sits there humming away gently and lets me play games on it.
Re: Bird Dog Screenshot Competition
Yeah plus 1 for that Ron. The contrast is very nice indeed. I vote for the second shot Andrey
It's a very good shot.

Here's my FSX splash screen:

If you want to use it, right click, 'Save as' and save it in your FSX\Uires folder. Of course back up the original dlgsplash.bmp first. (But you knew that eh?

Re: Bird Dog Screenshot Competition
This is an edited Screen shot based upon a war story which happened in Laos under the Vietnam war.
The Ravens - an covert FAC flying unit operated by CIA - trying to help the Laos army fighting the Vietnamese trying to take control of an strategic hillside.
The one who lead the counter attack from air was the legendary Fred Platt aka "magnet ass"...
This was a very unconventional attack from air and it did not follow any rule or regulation of war.
The Laos soldier put gasoline to the ground in a shape of an arrow to show from where the Vietnamese attacked.
QUOTE from Ralph Wetterhahn Air & Space Magazine, November 01, 1998:
Platt would eventually crash 11 airplanes. He earned the nickname "Magnet Ass" for the amount of gunfire he attracted. When it came to accompanying Platt, "No fly, no die" became an unwritten motto among the Hmong. When the backseaters refused to go with him, Platt got approval to fly alone. But Platt liked company, so he began taking along a tame bear cub and at other times a pet anteater. "The anteater would just wrap himself around my arm as I flew," Platt says. "The bear sat wherever he wanted."

Re: Bird Dog Screenshot Competition
Is there a reason why the decision of the two screenshot competitions (Bird Dog and Safir) are delayed for so long?
There are no news entries for six months and there probably won't be any more.

I guess that this action was probably a fake.
