I spent last evening noodling around with the paint kit, and came up with a clean and simple livery in US registration. Although it's hard to tell from the pics, the area below the stripe is polished aluminum -- above it is painted white. I'll upload it soon. Here are some pics. I can do other nationality registrations as well... David

Looks great Bill, any chance you could post this paint with the registration "CF-SFR" as well?

Beautiful repaint! This one will be perfect for my Alaskan adventures. I'm really having tremendous fun in Tongass and Misty fjords, so I'll say "Thank you" here.
One thing, though, Bill: you might want to remove the fuel tank from the fuselage. The "D" doesn't have one (As I was reminded by Andrey).
Looking forward to flying her!

Jure

Bill,
Excellent work - this is just what I've been looking for! Any changes to get it in Finnish registration, too? OH-SFA seems to be free, according to Finnish Civil Aviation Authority...

P.S. I left the cabin door key of Antelope Trail Ranch hanging on the wall of hangar and chopped some extra firewood for next visitors...

A family man in his fourties, and still playing with model planes and stuff like that. And - hopefully - never growing up

Yeah, nice work - got a definite `classic` vibe going on there Bill - a real forties/fifties paint scheme! :D

Given that this plane has been around a while, let's say someone retrofitted their D with a tank. If you can accept an American Safir, surely this isn't too much of a stretch.
