Just curious if anyone else is interested in forming a Safir Simmers Flying Club? I guess the idea would be sharing screenshots, meeting up for multiplayer flights (formation flying :-D !), and discussion about flying it? Anyone interested?

Yes

That´s a good idea! I´m rather a rotorhead but I love the Safir. A flying club sounds interesting!

Hello all,

Yes, I too would be interested, however, sometimes the time zone diff. makes flying on line a little difficult. (-8GMT) But I did say difficult.... not impossible. (smile)

Great idea.

I think we should find a homebase - like the Emma Field flying club. Any idea?

For online flying we would need a server (which is rather expensive) or someone who owns a server and allows us to use this. I don´t think, that the timezones will cause big troubles. It works fine at hovercontrol.com for example.

Maybe we could doo some formation flying in the style of the Team 2000
http://www.team-2000.at/ (Austrian Saab Safir flying Team - German language)

If online activity is not possible we could create screenshot reports from flying the Safir all over the world.

Maybe we´ll create some special paints.

Just some ideas

Hi Guys,
I may offer you dedicated forum as well as MP and TemSpeak server.
I am the co-owner of Polish portal dedicated simmers called FMA http://www.vatsim.net.pl/index.php
We have partnerships with some FS addons vendors and Tongass Wild http://www.tongasswild.com/ and Timberwolf Airways http://www.timberwolfairways.com/timber ... /index.php .
The last two use our servers for MP sessions and FMA portal users participate very often.
We have established two special bilingual forums for VFR and MP flying where users post infos about planned events and reports from their flights.
If you want to give a try our servers please look at the bottom of Tongass website http://www.tongasswild.com/flights.html where you will find all necessary information how to connect.
If you are interested please point one or two persons who will be on duty to discuss all details and next simply .... start to fly together.

Hi Stanel!

That´s a very generous offer and I´d like to thank you very much! It would be great to do some "slow motion formation flying"!

Thanks!

If the club gets going count me in also. Had one fliught in a safir as a teenager, lovely to see it in FS. How do they get such a feeling of character, so many planes work right, but are "soul=less"?
