LN-MAZ ready

Hello Safir pilots,

the LN-MAZ is ready and has been sent to Alex. With this one I tried a bit of texturing to give the aluminum a bit of a battered look, a few dents and bruises:

A bit of dirt on the trims and flaps:

In the air, not too polished, I trust:

Closeup of the fuselage. I remembered to paint the curtains red

Your work is always good... this one is exceptional

. Perfect for these overcast Portland days too, that weathered grey looks very realistic against a dark overcast sky.

Thank you for your kind words, fellow Safir pilots.

It's been a real pleasure painting this special aircraft. I tend to spend ridiculous amounts of time on each paint - it's like with some women: the more time you spend with them, the more you get to know and appreciate them...

I am still tinkering with the other two, the G-HRLK and PH-RLA. Applied the "bumps" and reddened the PH-RLA a bit. I hope Alex wouldn't mind updating the packages once they're ready...

Eagle: Ruined??? Quite the opposite, your shots and edits are wonderful, simply beautiful!
