Re: Landing gear

Just to illustrate what I meant.

Image

This has just been ctrl+E started so I've not forgotton to push a button and also it's immediately after launching FSX so nothing I've done on a previous flight in the session

Oh, and the fire goes out once airborne

Re: Landing gear

I'll ask this here because it's landing gear question. My wheels are on fire! Flames, sparks and smoke pour from the tyres! At first I thought I left the handbrake on but there is no handbrake! (not that I could find anyway) I also looked for a 'repair/servicing feature...no luck. I'd appreciate hea...

GPS disappears in SafirB

I bought the Safir a few days ago and after an initial misunderstanding with the 'plane we now get along just dandy! In fact, I love it! However! (there is ALWAYS a 'however' :) )In the B version the GPS screen display disappears after 5 minutes into a flight, leaving me lost and going round ...

Re: Just a great aircraft

Let's drag this thread screaming back into the light. Is the Safir I download, the definitive article or will I have to mess about getting it to work in W7?
I'm very tempted to buy this aeroplane ( ) as soon as we see the final BirdDog. :)

I'll recall the guys who were on their way to Moscow then. Terrific post.

No no! There are hundreds out there, all gagging for it. I hear they're organising a march on Moscow! They're turning ugly I tell you! :(

Re: How is the update coming along?

There's a queue forming up outside waiting to buy the BirdDog as soon as the patch is ready. Can you hear them banging on the door?

Re: Paint kit and Repaints

Eddy, what became of Northwind with wheels? I had it, lost it and can no longer find it. It was/is one of my favourites!

EDIT: It's OK, I've found it on AVSIM

ANOTHER EDIT: But it's missing a cockpit! :(

Re: A BirdDog afficiano

I half expected a slagging off. The thing I find very disappointing, and it's not just Sibwings, is that a product is offered for sale in an unfinished state. Carenado do the same. Their last offering the Bonanza was first greeted with huzzahs! Then people realised it wasn't up to scratch and...

A BirdDog afficianado

I bought this aircraft 5 minutes after a friend told me about it and no regrets. It's a marvellous little crate. In fact I've hardly 'flown' anything else since getting it. However... I'm aware that a patch is on the way and much has been said about it in quite heated terms. This is how I see it. Th...

Re: Paint kit and Repaints

Hi, new boy here. I've been lurking here for a while and I've downloaded all these terrific 'repaints' (In my other life as a sim racer we call them skins :) ) I'm an avid skinner and like you, to me, the devil is in the detail. I've no idea how difficult it is to preview your work in FSX but...
