Re: Good review on unknown language.

Great review, couldn't have put it better! Polish I believe No, seriously :) It's possible to see that author worked with model, discovered a lot of hidden features and read the manual! There was many cases when people asks free copy for review and wrote very few simple text or didn't wrote a...

Re: Forum header

Unfortunately there's only room for one aircraft. :( I could make a Safir one and they could be rotated.

Re: Support request (flaps)

The great thing about the flight sim community is that there is always someone to point the way. The side effect of that is that approaches are a bit tidier. Shame you didn't quote that bit as well. I wouldn't have looked quite such a dick. I've only been flight simming for 6 mon...

Re: RESOLVED: BirdDog 1.2 CTD

Bombs and rockets!? I didn't know you could have bombs and rockets. :o How does that sit with a flight simulator as opposed to a combat sim? The good citizens of Concrete and Darrington ain't gonna like that! And dropping one down the chimney of Israel's farm will make him madder than a hornet.

Re: Support request (flaps)

.....Or do as I've done and replaced the swflaps .wav with the flaps wav from Carenado's 152 (I've trawled through loads of flaps sounds and that, to my mind, is the least irritating! Scrub that. The default Cessna 172 is better. It syncs with most positions and I'm training myself not to lo...

Re: GPS

I had this and I discovered that if you save a Microsoft aircraft as default (mine is the 172) (check the GPS works) then select your BirdDog from the options screen as normal then your GPS will work. I made the mistake of having the BirdDog as default and as it doesn't appear to have GPS as part of...

At last an answer, for which we thank you. So that means 'live with it, it's an FSX thing? :? Or do as I've done and replaced the swflaps .wav with the flaps wav from Carenado's 152 (I've trawled through loads of flaps sounds and that, to my mind, is the least irritating!

Re: Support request (flaps)

I for one cannot understand the reluctance to even acknowledge that this problem even exists. Come on guys, it can't be that much of a problem to fix. If it worked fine in the previous version how hard can it be? If it IS difficult at least say so! Ignoring it wont make it go away. You fixed a bunch...

Re: Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog flight behaviour

I seem to recall someone having a pop about assigning as a default button something that maybe not everyone has got. i.e. a scroll wheel mouse, to lock the gyro.

Well now that the update's out I hope the people who were questioning the FDE have some feedback? Does she fly by the numbers, better on take-offs, has proper spin characteristics and all that?
Yeah, all that.
