Re: New 21st RAC Repaint Available

Yo PJ! I confess to not having been on this forum for yonks which is good because when you come back it looks quite a busy little burg. Lots of unread posts! Incidently, I think it's against Italian law to mention Ferrari GTO in the same line of type as the 'other' GTO. Just thought you'd lik...

Re: New 21st RAC Repaint Available

Also have to read ChickenHawk again - pretty good read. Isn't that about huey pilots? Read it twice, I'll have to read it again. Every so often in life something comes along that looks 'right' and the Bell HU-1 Huey was one of those things. Along, I might add, with the BirdDog, Spitfire, the Ferrar...

Re: Safir again !?... YES!

I'm a bit confused. (no change there then!) Is this an update to the existing 91B with a new paint job, or is it a completely new model? :?

Re: FS9 Repaints have been converted for FSX

Old thread but best not to waste space on teh interwebs eh? Now I have my 91B successfully working (Thank you pj) Who's got all the FSX repaints these days. The ones on the website seem to be FS9 (i.e. lacking .dds files) and I'd really like to have a change from the Swedish job! (Sorry Swede...

Re: Just a great aircraft

I'm hoping this may put me...and you, out of our miseries. I thought I could just put the 91B out of my mind, but no. :( So I downloaded another copy, uninstalled the old one, reinstalled and fired it up. Same deal. Then, developing the suggestion made by Paul about default flights, I thought I'd go...

Re: Just a great aircraft

Three minutes later and I SWEAR I didn't touch nuffin guv, I took this screenie. I was simply flying along enjoying the scenery. Note that the radio is off too. Check it second time... all good here. I have supposition that you have some program installed (something like FSUIPC or weather manager) ...

Re: Just a great aircraft

This thread has been hijacked big time. Maybe someone could transfer these posts to the proper place. In the meantime some progress. As an experiment I saved the default 172 with the battery and generator switches ON. Loaded as per usual and because I couldn't be arsed to fly around aimlessly, I sat...

No, not three minutes, 10-12 minutes. The three minutes was between screenshots.

Re: Just a great aircraft

It would be wonderful if you could replicate it just to prove I'm not going gaga. On the other hand I wouldn't mind being shown to be gaga if only someone would say "Press this button and all will be well"

Re: Just a great aircraft

I'm back. Did as instructed, 172 default, everything off except radio. Load up and swop the aircraft to a 91B from within the game. Fire it up and off we go! seven minutes into flight I took this screenie. Note that the radio is on. http://www.finnglish.co.uk/scrns/seeit.jpg Three minutes lat...

Re: Just a great aircraft

Ron - how do you set up your default flight - and if not done so recently - try setting up a new one, with everything off except the radio switches: leave them "on". I'm talking about the Cessna 172. Then launch that first and then switch the Cessna out and the Safir in. For you Paul I'll do it.......
