Only one sentence: this passage of your license agreement breaks german law and therefore it is void for german customers. I don't need to take care about this passage and may reinstall the Safir on my PC as often as I want, that grants me our civil law here in germany! Of course you may. You just ...

The problem is we live in an `instant gratification` society, where everything is someone elses fault, answers have to be immediate and solutions instantaneous. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the flight sim world, where MOST support questions, let's face it, are the result of the rush ...

Disagree completely. You haven't bought ten activations, you've paid for two. You don't own this software, or the rights to continuously reinstall it. Why don't you just read the licence information you have signed as read and understood before you installed the aircraft, or even just peruse the old...

Isn't it interesting how having these aircraft in the sim makes them seem like familiar old friends when you see them in pictures? There are many owners and operators of vintage aircraft who are missing the incredible opportunity that the sim presents to really get their aircraft `under the s...

It is pointless continuing this if you have no rudder pedals on which to base your assessment. Without them, you cannot easily apply the control elements necessary to forward slip as you can't truly separate out the various controlling elements. Use your rudder pedals, and we can continue this conve...

Yep! That's the one. Not as good as Poisonblack IMHO, but some good stuff on that album. Night time driving music, as well as daytime simming! ;-)

You need rudder pedals to be able to do slips. If you are only using the joystick twistgrip you cannot apply the consistent and delicate application needed. What rudder pedals do you use, and do you use FSUIPC for calibration? On the subject of ground effect: While this might not be a forum for comp...

No, so we come full circle to my original reply. On my computer I am able to perform forward slips and sideslips with ease. I can perform crosswind approaches using either wing-low or crab technique. For sure. It is therefore not the flight modelling that is wrong, it is something in your controller...

As I have said in another reply, I have no stick time in a Safir to be able to comment on whether the real one can sideslip - but given that the aircraft was designed in the Forties I'd be surprised if it couldn't. However, the Safir was fitted with split flaps, a particular type of wing flap (inven...

Mine does... and be VERY careful about assuming the role of sideslip is to decrease airspeed. It is not, although it is often a side-effect. The primary function of SIDESLIPp is to alter the relative aerodynamic effect, to xchange the relative track without altering the heading of the aircraft. And ...

The aircraft .cfg alters the parameters in the .air file, and is NOT the place to look for differences in flight models. You will need a properietary reader for the .air file - and a sound knowledge of aerodynamics and the interraction of a range of computer parameters when used to create such a vir...

1:Because you failed to cage the device before commencing the manoueuvre. As a resulty, you have `toppled the gyro` and must now reset it.

2: The suspension is quite soft and so you need to go really, really slow.

Can't help with 3: , sorry

A year wait again ?? For what a special FSX-model ? How with many other Models a FS9/FSX Version. The only handicap this exists meanwhile is your DLL. If this changes and the SAFIR runs in FSX !! Please, at least an update for this problem as an intersolution. To Microsoft the SDK brings out the FS...

Probably for the best. You clearly have not the slightest understanding that what you actually purchase with software is not the software itself, merely the license to USE it, and use it in accordance with an agreement whose terms and conditions you accept BEFORE purchase. Seems you have much to lea...

Check your realism settings in the sim and your rudder pedal calibration.

I can sideslip the Safir with ease using rudder pedals and a FF joystick.

Actually, ground adjustable cowl flaps are an amazingly simple solution given that this was a SAAB, so had to work for a living through a Swedish winter, while not overheating in an Ethiopian summer. In deep winter, the bigegst problem with an air-cooled engine is not, as one might expect, keeping i...
