Hi Zane, I'm glad to see you her at this forum ! When I wrote my "in love" post in the DF Forum I had asolutely no idea that there was a Safir for FS in progress. As you can understand I had to wait patiently for the release. :) And what a lovely relase it was ! I made a few screenshots after the fi...

:) :) :) I thought that ther was a much longer story behind it but the most simple explanations are the best ! I'm most grateful that you didn't give up and moved ahead with the project. In the past I've done a bit of tweaking of flight dynamics just for fun and I know how time consuming it is to mo...

Why the SAAB Safir ?

I'm very curious why the SibWings-lab team choose to model the SAAB Safir for FS ?

I thought this aircraft was little known of outside Sweden and I'm extremelly happy with the product but it would be nice to hear the background story about why you went for the SAAB Safir ?

I would like to see this one... http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0792487/L/ simply because it is the only one I can find based in the U.S.. Do anyone know why they used a blue coulor in that "camo scheme"... It looks a bit strange or "odd" I think.... //Per N91SB was painted in the UK by someone ...

I have also heard some rumors about a meeting in 2007 at Säve..... I live only 40 km from that airport but I have to go 100 km in the other direction to pick a up a Safir :-D An educated guess is that there will be a guided tour in this place: http://www.aeroseum.se/ I'll let you all know as soon as...

Thank you for your kind comments. I'm a lousy photographer and even worse in the screenshot department but I thought I'd have a go at it anyway :)

KVZ is just beautiful in the sim. I hope you can keep it in camouflage colours for as long as possible. You are right about the individuality. The aircrafts I fly has got more modern instrumentation due to costs, it was cheaper to replace the gyros than to maintain the old ones :( Happy flying ! Håk...

Nope, I'm not mixing things up, I'm just reffering to what is normal "B" and "C" standard. In this case i belive KVZ has been mixed up with a switch from a "B" Safir. Those things happen all the time just as there are plenty of "B" models with constant speed units fitted. An aircraft is just a bunch...

I forgot another little thing, I'm probably getting a bit senile :D

The "gear not down" light usally comes on at a manifold pressure of 50 cm Hg and not at throttle at idle as it is now.

First of all I would like to congratulate you to an excellent aircraft for MSFS.I have no idea why you choose to model th SAAB Safir in the first place but since I'm a Safir pilot I'm most happy with your decision. I have spent a number of hours flying it and comparing it to the real thing and I hav...

A new forum member

Hello all of you ! I found this site a few days ago and I'm really looking forward to be able to fly Safirs both in real life and on my computer. I might be one of your most demanding customers :D (Just joking) From what I've seen so far I'm really impressed. Keep on ironing out the bugs before rele...
