I can still be impressed by the quality

I must say that though I have had this gem for a while can the quality of it still impress me. I do my most flying inside the VC cockpit but a stroll on the outside from time to time to check tire and so  . Today did i see a tiny detail on the fuselage on the SE-KVZ paint that i had not seen b...

Swedish nostalgica

The SAAB Safir was the primary trainer for Swedish airforce cadets for a long time, first Safir was taken into serve about 1947. Later was the Safir substituted for the Bristol Bulldog and the SAAB 105 (SK60) So whats more natural than merge the history into a picture :D of these to lovelly birds. R...

Hi SuredT What i know about the directional gyro is that it has an inbuilt feature that will deflect the gyro alignment upon power up. In the first version did the gyro self align to magnetic compass, but after a request from me did Sibwings change the function by adding a deviation of about +-15 de...

When you refer to GPS button, what do you mean ?
The regular way to open up the default MS GPS in the Safir is by clicking on the small knob on the glove department in front of the passager.

Or do you refer to any key combination ?

It feels when reading all these posts that we are talking about a military trainer, that would be a "warbird", two seater etc

:D - So you have been involved in the Aerosoft Beaver - Thats a nice aircraft thats stands in my hangar. This explains a bit how you guys can come up with a aircraft with so extreme quality at a first own release. If I should read "familar wit the safir" litterally should it be something in the Bück...

Findings B-Model (swedish yellow)

The two directional gyros does still go in different directions and are still offset by 180 degrees. Have also found that the switch "SGN LIGHT", number 5 on page 21 in the manual, works ok when switched into "STEADY" position, red strobe on the back of the safir is firm red. But when switched into ...

Hi Just do as it says, the files will then be put in the right folders if you unzip the package in the FS9 root folder. The other way to do it is to unzip the package to a separate place on your harddrive and the move the files from each folder into the same folder under FS9 root. For example if you...

I must say that this is a quite strange fenomena, this is nothing that i have found not to work during beta testing.
