KVZ taking off in the evening

KVZ taking off after the visit at Dala-Järna flightshow in August. The evening was beautiful and the CB-clouds has vanished so the flight home to F15 Wing airfield was smooth as silk :) Pure enjoyment I would say!

Johan, Could you also *please* provide me with information? We received invitation for the 2005-fly-in - when the bird wasn't ready to fly yet... :( - but none for the 2006... If I can get the money together, I'd be happy to join... Of course I´ll provide more info as info is released! :) Everybody...

Lock

The siderudder (also elevators and ailerons) are in a locked position on that picture so that no damage will occur during windy conditions. You lock the stick and the pedals with a leather strap down on the floor on the pilots side. Edit: as Simon said the rudder are not sprung-loaded and has to be ...

Re: Quick query for real Safir pilot

I'm assuming from the absence of a cockpit control in all but the 91D and their omission from the user manual for the other versions that the cowl flaps are in fact ground-adjustable only? Individuals

All Safirs are more or less individuals nowadays :-) What is "standard" or not is really hard to tell, and because the only C-version in this release is KVZ, it is accurate with the combined starter/magneto switch and the team made an excellent job modelling this unique aircraft. No I´m sorry to say...
