Re: Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog flight behaviour
It's ok, man.. I've always found that - writing the intended angry email/post, whatever - gets it off your chest! - but then I save it as draft - I don't send it. I come back to it next day and look at it again. THEN I might send it - or not. It allows time to make a better choice. It works - and yo...

Re: Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog flight behaviour
"why do you think Sibwings tolerated my "postings" ? .. probably because Andrey has a life outside of Sibwings, and his personality is such that he tolerates such arrogant, insulting, juvenile posts as your previous ones, but now that you've said publicly: "incorrect files you have used from the "S...

Re: Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog flight behaviour
HI Mos; No, my friend. This bears no semblance to the performance settings of the F model. 1). Run-up gives 2900 rpm and 33". The brakes won't hold that. Correct setting is about 2050 at 24". 2). Elevator trim is far too harsh. 3). Insufficient torque/"p" and prop effects on take-off. 3). On take-of...

Re: Birddog Flight model
Gosh - I'm going to argue for leaving it as it is. I've just purchased this sweet little aeroplane and have two circuits with it. Both successful - the second with less flap, as the bottom does drop out from under you. It "feels" nose-heavy. I'm going to dig further, but don't have time right now. I...

Re: Just a great aircraft
Works perfectly on Win7/32-bit, Alex.. I'm running UT_USA, GEX, REX, ASA, Victoria+, with TripleHead2Go and TrackIR.
Many thanks for the modification - she's back on the flight-line.

Re: FSX update news
1). Mr Evans - "if you invested in FSX you have already invested in these people, so your attitude is hardly borne out by your actions." Somehow you expect me to know that "these people" work for Microsoft??? .. and that my "attitude", based on that impossible premise - should govern my future actio...

Re: FSX update news
Well... The last post was (denez) January 18th, 2008. It's now April 20th. I made a mental that whoever is running this operation hasn't even the manners to reply to him/her. I expect that when - and even if - an FSX version is released one can guess where my money will remain... Guys - it takes a w...

Floating. .
. . .having a coupla hundred hours in the old DH Chipmunk in the RAF - I will guarantee that - if you don't get the airspeed down where it needs to be - you are going to float a foot off the runway forever! I noticed it on the first landing, and it was so good - maybe a first - to finally find an mo...

New aircraft in the stable. . .
Well - I bought it! I just had a few circuits at Seatle Tacoma, with some mild aeros - a spin and a t 'n' g at Renton. Alex - she is absolutely beautiful! I have to say this is one of the top light GA aircraft now available. It's right up there with the RealAir Spit and the T37 Tweet. Thank you (and...
