Co-pilot - strange problem ??

Hello, I just installed the 1.2 update. When pressing Ctrl+Shift+4 the seat belt harness appears in the VC and I see the rear pilots helmet peeking through the upper rear fuselage. Why is this? I'd much rather have him in the rear seat :-) Similarly, the Ctrl+Shift+0 command will not remove any exte...

Re: Bird Dog causes FSX to crash!

Tested a new birddog.dll that Andrey sent me with "run as administrator" unchecked on the fsx.exe. Complete success :-) No crash or FSX needs to close situation. All good :-)

Thanks

Re: Bird Dog causes FSX to crash!

I'm not here to offer you a better protection system, I first posted to get my reinstalled Birddog to work. I fixed that myself.

Re: Bird Dog causes FSX to crash!

Fixed by myself by enabling "Run as administrator" on the FSX.exe. I find it strange that I need to tamper with the FSX.exe at all to prevent the Birddog from crashing the sim. A good rule is to create code that does not affect the sim itself or any other publishers work. That's what I'm used to fro...

Bird Dog causes FSX to crash!

Hi, I just got a new PC running Win7 64-bit. I just re-installed the Bird Dog but when loading the aircraft for the first time (loading the .dll file), FSX crashes. I have no clue what it is. I do not run in any compatibility mode and have all User Controls on programs at the lowest setting. Please ...

Re: Paint kit and Repaints

Good stuff :-) Unfortunately I have had a HDD crash and most of my PSD files were lost along with texture folders. I will most likely not redo my work, given the fact most of the repaints was meant for a model I don't have a clue when will be available. They will probably be classified "not so hi-en...

Re: When will the update be published ??

Hello Dag! It will be published as soon as it will be ready :) Did you expect another answer ? Now we are in negotiations with flight dynamic people, how much it will take I can't even suppose. Andrey Yes Andrey, I was expecting an approximate date of sorts but seeing your reply above, never mind. ...

When will the update be published ??

Hi, I have 6 repaints for the promised military O-1A model on wheels with helmeted pilot and no tow gear at the tail wheel. I was wondering when this model and all other updates to the Birddog will be published. I am not interested in a reply from a beta tester, I want a reply from a developer. If t...

Re: Unusal Bird Dog weapon

Hi Andrey,

Very unusual! It looks like a slightly modified M-60?
If you are going to adapt it to the mil wheel/helmeted pilot A version, please make stores options.
Would it be long before new models are available in an uodate ?

Very nice repaints Andrey
When will the new model be out (O-1A with wheels and a pilot wearing a helmet) ?

Thanks

Modelling issue - small thing in front and below.

Hi, This is pretty difficult to explain but there's some small "thing" appearing in front and quite a bit below the ski model O-1A. First I thought it was a shadow on the ground but I discovered it moved when banking the aircraft. It looks like a bird kind of thing and in scale it could be 1000 ft b...

Re: Question about A model Virtual cockpit

Excellent work Andrey, suits my Paints perfectly ;-) The RNoAF/Norwegian Army O-1As had a different antenna config. Small black radome on the spine, narrow rectangular blade antenna on the spine, red strobe on the spine, "towel rack" antenna placed across on rear roof and long (very long) VHF whip t...

Heja Norge! ...snyggt jobbat! Ni Norrmän har en hel del Birddogs... Thankyouuuuu ! Yeah. We had a few (27), only 1 flyable here now in addition to a museum example. I have collected quite a few photos of them throughout the years, including some of how they looked in US ARMY paint in West Ge...
