Re: Flight dynamics update V2.3 - public beta testing

Not sure what you message you want me to give me when talking about 10 feet? But she certainly takes of on a couple of 100 feet, even when full.

Dominique,
I'm saving flights with all off and that works for me to have different locations to start from.

Re: the update :)

BTW, speaking of MAP (and RPM). The indications of the sticker above the left console, the user manual and the flying guide (Swiss pilot) are somewhat different in their recommendations. How do you explain that ? At the end of the day, it's up to me (the pilot) to find the proper setting hic et nun...

Re: Flight dynamics update V2.3 - public beta testing

The flight dynamics V2.4 are basically done. But to incorporate them into an update is not ready yet as a few other things will be updated and Andrey is working on them. You will get it all in one go. When? I can't give you a date, but be assured Andrey will let you know when it is ready.

Re: Flight dynamics update V2.3 - public beta testing

Hello, We have just realized that we have a misreading on our MAP gauge. In the manifold there is MAP in units hPA and mmHG. I have used hPa as reference and we also let the MAP gauge hPA as values, though it is written mmHG on it. By that you have a 20 % difference in reading. This will be correcte...

Re: Too high CHT

I actually had the change to fly an An-2 yesterday and was paying particular attention to the development of oil and cylinder head temperature. It will take a few days to simulate that in FSX.

Re: Too high CHT

Just want to confirm that I'm working on this issue and shall be fixed in the next update. Also confirm that cowlings should be fully open and setting full RPM only on short final. I have re-uploaded my public beta for testing with more cooling from the cowling flaps. Hope that cures the problem. Th...

Just wait until the new update will be available. We have further tweaked the temperature behavior. And I don't know when it will come out!

Re: Development plan?

Hope that skis, floats and a sprayer version will be developed. The later loosing weight during operation would be cool. I'm not for a fully modern cockpit. An integration of a GPS - preferable RXP - instead of the steam ADF would be my top wish for improved orientation. I don't like 2D popups. And ...

Re: Download counter.

I also appreciate all the very good reprints delivered so far. Thank you! I like to fly local liveries in the countries I fly for fun. At the end a few stay for good and just the download figure would not be a correct measurement of my admiration. Too many personal preferences play a role and the co...

Re: Repaint request for 2 swiss liveries

Hi, I was alerted by the Swiss flying community, that we have another private An-2 in Switzerland. More can be found on http://www.starflight.ch 8unfortunately in German) She has a luxury interior. Alex would need to model that for these types.... Here are some more details http://www.paulsquires.co...

Re: Switches not working

I would second this experience. I have many situations saved as flights and never have a problem with loading the An-2. Especially during testing i have flights with engine switched off, others with engine running or even in flight. Later I have then placed the various liveries at their region and f...

Re: Altitude corrector

I admit, we only used the overwriting effect so that it basically runs in auto mixture . Simulating the original function would have required custom coding on this item and my technical resource confirmed they fly always in auto mixture. So we decided to use the default functionality.

Re: just a few observations...

I'm surprised that the relay switching is taking place at a RPM higher that what is recommended for idle RPM in the checklist. I know that this is already higher that what the engine runs when throttle fully closed. Thanks for the input.

Re: What are these?

For the cowling flaps it is the most right switch on the middle console. To make it work you need to have battery on ans cowl electric circuit switch on

Re: just a few observations...

Currently we have 800 RPM to switch the red light off and generator is supplying the electrical bus. This is conflicting to my information that the typical idle RPM should be kept at 700-800 RPM. I would expect this to be above the RMP that the generator can load the battery. So if one could show or...
