Cannot set allocations message

I had this message crop up acouple of weeks ago and re-installed the Birddog, which seemed to clear it. I ran Ccleaner to make sure the registry had no problems before re-installing. Everything seemed normal at first (Birddog works fine, FSX crashes 60% of the time when you exit!! ) but now t...

Re: Modelling issue - small thing in front and below.

Was flying around Orbx Lilydale in sunny Oz today and noticed that during a replay. I spent a while moving the viewpoint around to see what it was, but got no-where. All I had done was take off and start a circuit, nothing else. I assumed it was something scenery related but it is peculiar as it see...

Re: Annoying sound after returning to VC.

Is this the old 'fuel pump' sound that seems to have plagued FSX for ages? Try turning sound off then back on (Q key) and see if that fixes it. I have had similar issues with several add-ons and this always sorts that out. I guess good old Microsoft/ ACES could have fixed it if the plug hadn't been ...

Re: custom control and other stearingproblems

All the 'custom' controls work in the VC for me EXCEPT the ctrl-shift-0 to remove the fits - it does nothing.

Not a big deal though - if they were fittedfor real, you'd still have the carriage bits left anyway

Re: Radio power and fuel cock problems

Andrey,

great news

Any idea about the radio power? I notice that the electrical section in the cfg for the USAF O1-F is a lot smaller than in the french O1-A. Is this the reason?

Re: Outstanding!

Aah yes, 'foot' and 'mouth' spring to mind...

Perhaps I should read that manual again.

Re: Radio power and fuel cock problems

I may have solved my fuel cock problems - I can get it to the 'OFF' position by left OR right clicking depending on whether its currently on main or aux tank. I can live with it :) The french model trim indicator looks like its too small in the VC compared to the other models. The yellow indicator i...

Re: Panel night light on dials

Yes, all thats pretty obvious but my problem is that in any of the other models with the panel floods on (the lower ones on each side, NOT the larger flood on the left), ALL the dials, the throttle quadrant and the switch panel light up red - in other words all the white or nearly white dial marking...

Re: Outstanding!

There is a 'salvo' button on the instrument panel (certainly in the O1-F USAF model) or map a key or button to 'wing fold' in the controls options. I'm sure its in the pdf manual

Panel night light on dials

Can anyone tell me if the USAF O-1F model should have red dial lighting at night? The French olive drab and ski versions do, but my USAF model only lights up the switch panel, throttle quadrant and manifold pressure gauge. On the other models all the other dials are lit with red markings at night to...

Re: Handling Issues

I guess it can't be just me then! Definitely seems twitchy with any wind, but I haven't suffered any ground looping apart from a mild attack on my second landing. Still managed to keep it pointing roughly down the runway tho'. It does seem to have a peculiar crab with any crosswind which rudder does...

Radio power and fuel cock problems

Further to the posts on radio frequencies and master switches, I cannot get the radio set in the 0-1F (USAF model) to go out with everything off in the cockpit. The battery switch does not have any effect - it is powered all the time. The on/off knob on the radio set has no effect either. Funnily th...

FSX locks up when changing aircraft

First, can I congratulate you guys on a very nice add-on (even if we have been waiting....  ). I do have a few problems with it though - The ADF and OBS are not quite right as reported in another thread (ADF tuning dial marks do not agree with the tooltip and the OBS course tape does no...
