Re: O-1/L-19 Birddog Flight Dynamics Modification Update

Does she spin now? When they kicked me out of the beta team for the 'new' FDEs she wasn't capable of that and had an awful 90deg pitchup during the stall.

>Finally, if you do not change your tone to snave, to our team - I'm sorry - I'll ban you here. WHAT? Are you serious? Please note that "snave" simon evans has been banned from almost every important FS website in the meantime due to his let's say "questionable" behaviour combined with his very litt...

Re: Great Dog!

Well, Simon, how about posting your magic 'outside' non-FSX-related fix instead of keeping them a secret. I'm VERY interested how your magic abilities relate e.g. to the constant speed propeller problem which identical to the old Safir problem and Sibwings not even thinks about correcting it. Does t...

Re: Suggestion?

According to my books around 1972 all L-19As were retrofitted with electric flaps. Didn't know that there are any manual planes left...

Re: Propeller Question

@gfat This is also strange. Static, full power 2700RPM. Release the brakes and the faster you go, the lower the RPM....at 40mph 2250RPM. (Same happens with the fixed prop version.) But at 65mph full power, prop full fwd (still 2250RPM) I get 1500ft/min at 2200lbs which seems to be more than in the m...

Re: Propeller Question

The sibwings A model does not have manual flaps but it's missing the flap indicator that's associated with the electric flaps. The constant speed prop is....let's say weird. The less the RPM, the higher the performance..but that was already a problem with the Safir. IF you enter a spin it becomes an...

LOL. That's exactly what I asked Andrey if that would be possible!
(plus the missing flap position indicator for the electric driven flaps)
This L-19 already belongs to the very best FSX planes ever built!

Re: Aerobatics?

There is no difference between rudder pedals and a twist grip joystick which could explain the difference in flight behaviour.
Both offer independent full control surface travel.....

Aerobatics?

Hi folks, Looking foward very much to the L-19! (and the Pitts Special even more) My questions is, as all of the real world counterparts of the sibwing planes are fully aerobatic, do your planes spin and slip ? I found one unanswered question in the Safir forum about the way too low rudder authority...
