Re: A2A lights on Saab?

Strange thing is I can't find the coords for the landing lights anywhere. As it seems the cfg does not define landing lights at all. But how do they work then???

Re: N-SF91 fictional livery

Short question on this repaint. Do north american regs also use "N-..."? I always thought they were just "N..." (without the dash).

Re: Lighting question

Doh :smt005 - just made a fool out of myself. Thanks for the tip. I would not look there normally though I must admit - not the place I'd search for lighting controls. Saab truly made some unique designs. :smt003

Re: Crashing

The 2.0.1 fixed the CTDs as well as a few other problems here (non-rolling wheels on the SF-3 and lamp light in the c-version). Thanks for the fix.

Re: Lighting question

Eh, how do I enable the gauge lighting in the swiss d-version? I've seen that screenshot ... http://www.sibwings.com/ss/fsx/dbl_09.jpg ... but have been unable to get that kind of lighting in the HB-DBL. I cannot find the turn knobs for the instrument lights. Are they hiding somewhere? I'd be...

A2A lights on Saab?

Hi there,

given the fact that the Safir has landings lights left and right in the wings I imagine it might look really nice with the A2A redux lights. Has anyone tried that yet?

Best regards...

Holy crap

Hi there, After converting the 32bit textures to DXT5 I do now get pretty much exactly the same fps in the Safir as in the FSX default Cessna and boy is this one a masterpiece. You get a 9/10 from me (have to leave 1 you earn when the bugs are fixed :smt003 ). Wow... http://www.imagesave.net/upload/...

Re: Lighting question

How do I start the engine in the C-version by the way? I seem to be missing the starter button. How is it done in that version?

Re: Crashing

This seems to be related to some part of the Safir running. When I load one Safir from my C&D state I can switch back and forth to others without problems. When I start everything up and try to switch it crashes. I've not yet nailed the part that causes the problem or in other words after wich point...

Re: Lighting question

No problem at all. The cabin light is enough for those dusk and dawn hours and is very atmospheric. I was just wondering about the pull-down lamp in the C-version - at least I did not see a change in lighting when I pulled it down where I notice on in the other version. By the way, I love the way in...

Lighting question

Hi there, I noticed that the instrument lights only come on when its pitch black, not during dusk and dawn. I guess this is a limitation of the flightsim. However I noticed that the pulldown lamp in the C-version does not seem to illuminate the panel at all. It does in the D-version as well as in th...

Re: Stuck tires

I see that on the SF3 too. The other versions I tested so far have rolling wheels. It would be nice if that could be fixed. Thank you.

How to open cowling?

Hi there, Let me first say how impressed I am by my new Safir. I have yet to see another GA that combines so many details and such a well done VC with so little fps-impact. Flying around in the Safir getting the same fps as in the FSX default Cessna makes you grin for sure. I've little question thou...

Re: Crashing

Same here, loading one Saab works well but switching from one to another causes a CTD here. However I don't do that often inflight. The non-rolling weels of the D-model are more annoying to me. Otherwise I have to say that the SafirX has to be one of the best GAs I've ever seen/flown. I did not have...
