Re: found a way to do "cold & dark" mode without hassle

I am talking about the Red lever on ECU (right side) & not the fuel tanks selector on left side panel.
In the user manual:83. Fuel cut valve lever.
In fact its the only thing who not stay in off position.

Re: CTD when exiting FSX after flight

I have no idea who invented it but I do believe that it has never been part of the default fsx.cfg file. you're right,it has never been part of any fsx versions; RTM,Deluxe,SP1,SP2,Acceleration or Gold edition. The DisablePreload=1 TWEAK prevent to load, not a saved flight in your docs located at: ...

Re: CTD when exiting FSX after flight

I agree with Nick. The disablepreload "TWEAK" had no effect on flight fluidity or FPS gain. It was at the time for very slow PC & only help to save few seconds at FSX opening. Pretty secondary tweak in fact. If they could "fix it",if i could say , well but they shouldn't worry too much on that & put...

AN-2_check & REF

If you want to consult the user manual checklist from VC, i did formyself one in .HTM format. I also have made a reference one using AN-2 Flying Guide V1.1 PDF by Alexander Metzger. To use the AN-2_REF.HTM, just to edit each aircraft reference entry as follow. kb_reference= AN-2_REF http://imageshac...

Re: Altitude corrector

Using the manual control lever you can move the whole aneroid/needle assembly effectively leaning the mixture even further, at the same time retaining automatic operation. Is there a specific lever position for automatic operation? I suppose than it was at full rich position, lever full down in the ...

Re: Altitude corrector

As many of you, I am torn to have choose between enable or not automatic mixture. Then why not enjoy the best of both world. How, with a simple small .XML gauge i did for myself which allows automatic mixture without taking away the possibility of making it manually. Heres a little summary & descrip...

Re: Altitude corrector

I admit, we only used the overwriting effect so that it basically runs in auto mixture . Simulating the original function would have required custom coding on this item and my technical resource confirmed they fly always in auto mixture. So we decided to use the default functionality. Thanks Alexan...

Re: Altitude corrector

fuel_air_auto_mixture= 1 Thanks,i see,it takes only this entry. Correct me if i am wrong, but it looks to overide FSX settings. I recommend to check the real plane's flight manual available in English. The link can be found elsewhere in this forum. Thanks for the heads up, i already got it. Very in...

a rudimentary auto-mixture arrangement for the downdraft carburettor
This is an aneroid valve Altitude Compensator, but my question was more about if it was simulated somewhere than arguing about my knowledge of the Wright R-1820 or the ASh-62 engines.

Re: Altitude corrector

There somethings maybe need to be clarified about mixture i guess. -In User Guide, they said to disable automixture in FSX engine settings. -As Dave said " Aircraft.cfg is configured for automixure"? I have take a look at .air file's & theres no entry for mixture. Maybe it was controlled by the AN-2...

Re: Hide\Show outside stair

I just did a little test & yes you could click on "steir" from VC. As i dont have any camera to pan around the cabin i have made for myself two new cameras definition for the cabin. If like me you dont have camera to pan around the cabin you could edit your aircraft.cfg to add those new views. The "...

Which was . . . ?

The (Hide\Show outside stair) function work only from VC.
Why? I really dont know.
I think than you could also click on stair from VC, but i am not 100% sure about that.

Hide\Show outside stair

Hi first of all Nice work you did whit your AN-2. I just bought it a few hours ago & everythings going fine & as it should. The only thing is about the outside stair, as i have no function corresponding to (Ctrl+Shift+2), i am unable to make it Hide\Show. Is it possible to know the FSX system corres...
