I had the same problem. The path in the registry was correct but I still use the repair tool and then everything worked fine.

Open aircraft.cfg (first make a copy) Search the section "Contact_points" find this row point.0 = 1, -25.85, 0.00, -2.48, 1300, 0, 1.0, 180.0, 0.2, 2.0, 0.9, 0.0, 0.0, 0 Change the value 180.0 to maybe 45 or 60 that is the angel for the tailwheel to turn. it should ...
