I undestand the SAAB 105 , it's an evolution in the training methods with jets but..the Bulldog! (not Bristol but Scottish Aviation). Much better was to utilise Safirs ad-libitum instead !8) Bulldog was a militarised version of a normal light utility plane with fixed gear , nothing more advanced tha...

In any case I never have found real aeroplanes with an engine more noisy with lower propeller rpm (I say noise but for me engine plane sound is celestial music, in particular on RR merlins). This is a strange thing . :-D

Now I'll buy a new mouse with wheel because the sun is too strong, I forgot my cap at home and I am not very hairy  so I badly need the sunshade hoods

YES , I DID but while the Artificial Horizon is easily lockable using the knob, I cannnot lock the Gyrocompass , that become herratic after a steep turn or a looping. Than it remains unserviceable. Which is the right way to lock it ? The knob does not lock it at all.

STEVE : tell me the wording and I will translate, for sure . For istance : no step = non salire The correct translation could be "non camminare" but on the plane flaps etc. usually the exact wording is "non salire". Then it depends upon each plane. PS : I sent a mail yesterday to the owner jus...

Thanx dear Alex so, I will navigate using the VOR "bearing " in mind (hehe) that the "from - to " arrows are upside down. No problem. One long term project : Fokker S-11 , just in case you forget to remember this ugly but interesting plane. I flew with it in the late sixties after that Italian Air F...

just a confirmation for future updating. THE VOR works definitely reversed. Is it only a gauge problem ? In my own installtion I could change the gauge with another VOR from the sterminate list of gauges in the gauges folder...
Is it possible?

Thanx

I am a new SAFIR 91 customer and I need to know in which way I can close or open the window sunshade hoods, if I have not a mouse with the wheel . Then I opened the back right window but , when opened, I cannot close it again since the shackle is no more visible and clickable. Where can I find the k...
