But the picture author mentions a "D" type (in 1972) instead of ""B" (in 1967). May be it has been converted later on. I'll contact him.

Hi there, When I was 19 years old (sigh !) in 1966/67, I was flying Air France Safir's. I would be interested in finding back pictures and, possibly, have someone commit a repaint (which I am unable to do myself, unfortunately). According to my log book, 5 SAAB 91B have been wearing Air France color...
...And you should have seen that gear moving franticaly up and down all along the runway, while the plane was yoddeling up and down at low altitude when a lady pilot was desperately trying to lift it and lock it up. Since it needed a considerable amount of strenght, an a good synchronisation to lock...
