Re: Compare with Addicitive Simulations Pitts?

The Addictive Sims Pitts is the only payware aircraft I have ever deleted from my pc. I have never flown an aircraft which has an FDE as bad as this one has. It will not Knife-Edge. It is impossible to do any of the looping maneuvers with any kind of precision. I flew it for a month, complaining on ...

Re: Surprise!

Glad you found it, Jon! - and Welcome to the BirdDog 'club'. Isn't this one beautiful and unique aircraft ? I've found it to be the absolute ideal aircraft for touring the Orbx Pacific North-West. Just installed KORS a couple of days ago, and am shooting circuits on a daily basis, with the odd trip ...

Re: Pre Amphibian update

Well, I approached it (F model) at about 20 degs off to the right at 3000 feet, Tiger, with the OBS set to 240 and NAV set at 111.35. It intercepted both beams ok with nothing out of the ordinary, except that the localizer transmitter seemed aimed about five degrees off to the right. Now - that migh...

This is a nice, clean, decent forum - let's keep it that way, shall we?  Like Sadam Hussein used to say.. "What a man does in the privacy of his own bedroom is between him ...

Many thanks, 16. It all looks so innocent and peaceful down there doesn't it.... As a Brit in the RAF at the time - I'm sure glad we weren't over there!

Naaah.. stuck with it 'till next year I suppose. Andrey & Co are getting fired up over the Pitts... surprising what a bit of competition will do? Spending? haha! You, too, eh! Pitts, Lancaster, Asia, FSUIPC, the Nemeth Huey, plus a couple of other niceties from FTX/OrbX. Now I'm in the middle ...

Re: Product installation

I don't know how Andrey might respond, but you have purchased a "right to use" license for one installation, Scott. You didn't buy a physical product that you actually own, such as a pair of shoes for example. What you have is called Intellectual Property, and it remains the property of SibWings. Al...

Re: New 21st RAC Repaint Available

Hi Ron; it's been a while... How're things in Chelmsford? Yes - the Ferrari 250 GTO.. I remember when the Pontiac GTO came out - "Motor" magazine (I think) ran a comparison between the two vehicles at Brands Hatch... Yes - the Huey.. Nemeth Designs have one - been out for FSX for a year or so, with ...

Re: Pitts Special!

Yeah, I agree with you: in fact I still used the fs9 Eagle into FSX until IRIS rebuilt it, as I really missed this one. Beautiful FD and pretty much my favourite for aerobatics. I also purchased the Icarus Gold S-2 a year or so back, but it was awful: poor graphics, particularly the cockpit; bad sou...
